Terms of Service
Effective date:
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Tanvir Mahin (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of Flick Football. They apply to the Flick Football Android app, the browser version of the game at /play/ and this website (together, the “service”).
1. Accepting these Terms
By installing, accessing or playing Flick Football, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flick Football — or older, if the age of digital consent in your country is higher than 13.
3. Your account
- Flick Football uses guest accounts. There’s no email or password: your account is tied to a secret access token stored on your device (or in your browser, if you play at /play/).
- In the Android app you can connect your account to Google Play Games. If you do, signing in to Google Play Games brings your account back after a reinstall or on a new phone.
- If you haven’t connected Google Play Games and you clear the app’s data, uninstall the app or clear your browser’s storage, the token is removed and you will lose access to your account, including its progress, gold and disc sets. Premium bought in the Android app can still be restored through Google Play (section 6).
- Losing access doesn’t delete your data from our servers. To remove it, see Delete your account.
- You are responsible for activity on your account, so keep your device secure.
4. Play fair
When you use Flick Football, you agree not to:
- use a nickname that is offensive, hateful or sexually explicit, or that impersonates someone else;
- cheat, or exploit bugs or glitches;
- use bots, scripts or other automation against the service (playing against the in-game practice bots is, of course, fine);
- use more than one account, or team up with other players, to boost ranked ratings, levels or leaderboard places or to farm gold — for example by playing your own accounts against each other or arranging results;
- harass, bully or abuse other players, including by spamming friend requests or match invites; or
- attack, disrupt or overload the service, or try to access accounts, servers or data that aren’t yours.
Ranked Quick Match ratings should reflect real matches between real players, and leaving a ranked match counts as a loss. If we find cheating or abuse, we may reset or correct the ratings, levels, gold, disc sets or leaderboard entries involved, remove shared replays, and suspend or terminate the accounts involved (section 10).
If you find a bug or security issue, please tell us at tanvirmahin24@gmail.com instead of exploiting it.
5. Gold, disc sets and other in-game items
Gold is Flick Football’s in-game currency. You earn it by winning matches, levelling up, playing the daily trick shot and collecting the free daily gold, and in the Android app you can also buy it in gold packs (section 6). Gold can only be spent in the game, to unlock and upgrade disc sets.
Gold, disc sets, power-ups, formations, flags, XP and levels, ratings, scores, stats, pitch themes and anything else you earn or buy in Flick Football (“in-game items”) exist only inside the game:
- We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable licence to use your in-game items in Flick Football. You don’t own them.
- In-game items have no monetary or real-world value. They can’t be exchanged for real money, goods or anything else of value, and we don’t buy them back.
- They can’t be sold, traded, gifted or transferred to another player or account, inside or outside the game.
- Gold you buy is non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or Google Play grants a refund (section 6).
- If your account is deleted — by you, or by us under section 10 — or you lose access to it (section 3), your in-game items, including any unspent gold, are lost.
- We may change the game’s economy at any time, for example how much gold matches and other rewards give, what disc sets cost to unlock or upgrade, and their stats. We may also correct gold or items that were credited by mistake, for example because of a bug.
Flags show the country you choose to play for. They’re for fun and team colours only: Flick Football isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any national team, football federation or league.
6. Premium and purchases
The Android app offers optional purchases through Google Play:
- Premium (the Supporter Pack) — a one-time purchase that removes all ads, unlocks all premium disc sets at level 1, adds 5,000 gold once per account, gives you the free daily gold without watching an ad, and puts a supporter badge next to your nickname.
- Gold packs — packs of 1,000, 3,000 or 8,000 gold, which you can buy as often as you like.
Purchases can only be made in the Android app and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play’s refund policies. Before your first purchase the app asks you to connect Google Play Games, so what you buy stays with your account if you change phones. Premium belongs to the Flick Football account you buy it on. It’s also linked to the Google account you paid with, so the app restores it automatically after a reinstall. Gold from a gold pack is added to the account you’re playing on when you buy it. What you buy is a licence to use in-game items in Flick Football (section 5), not a transfer of ownership; it can’t be transferred to another person and has no cash value. If we ever retire a premium disc set, we’ll replace it with one of similar value. Except where the law requires otherwise or Google Play grants a refund, purchases are final. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we may remove what it unlocked or credited.
7. Ads
Flick Football is free to play and is paid for by ads and optional purchases. If you don’t have Premium, you may see an ad when a match ends, and once a day you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to collect free gold. After a win you can also choose to watch one to double that match’s gold. Ads are provided by Google (Google AdMob in the Android app and Google AdSense in the browser). We don’t choose the individual ads you see, and we aren’t responsible for the products, services or websites they advertise. Our Privacy Policy explains how Google uses data for ads and the choices you have. Premium removes all ads.
8. Shared replays
At the end of a match you can share your best goal as a replay link. A shared replay shows the goal together with your nickname, avatar, flag, supporter badge and disc set, and anyone with the link can watch it, without an account. You’re responsible for what you share and where you share it, and your nickname must follow section 4. We may remove any replay at any time, for example if it’s reported to us or breaks these Terms. Your shared replays are deleted when you delete your account.
9. The service
- We provide Flick Football “as is” and “as available”.
- We may change, add or remove features — including power-ups, disc sets, formations, rewards, game modes and game rules — at any time.
- The service may be interrupted, for example for maintenance or updates, or because of problems outside our control.
- Live match rooms may reset during server restarts, which can end matches in progress.
- To play online, you may need to update the Android app to a recent version.
10. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms.
- You can stop playing at any time and delete your account whenever you like — in the app under Settings → Delete account, or by email (see Delete your account).
- Sections 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 continue to apply after your account is deleted or terminated.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flick Football is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that your stats, match history and in-game items will always be preserved.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanvir Mahin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, game progress, in-game items, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — Flick Football.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we’ll make reasonable efforts to let you know, for example with a notice in the game. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
